What Is ASCEND Composite Cladding?
ASCEND is a composite cladding made from a glass-reinforced polymer bonded to a graphite-infused polystyrene insulation backing. The result is a panel with crisp, deep shadow lines like painted wood or fiber cement, but it won’t absorb moisture, so it won’t rot, warp, shrink or swell.
ASCEND is lightweight and uses a self-aligning stack-lock system, so crews can install it efficiently, even with fewer people. There’s no sealing, touch-up, joint flashing or caulking, and no painting down the road.
